A simple drill which can be used by players on their own or up to about 3.

Set-up 6 stations (cones, discs etc) and place a cricket ball by 3 of them.  Place a stump or stumps (yellow dot in the image) in the middle and then the aim is to hit that stump/s - simple really.

As you can see from the attached image you go 'green to green', 'red to red' etc.  The great thing is that as you are always throwing towards another station you can simply carry on after you've been to each of the 3 starting points.  You can also mix it in with some interval training, so sprint to one station, walk to the next, jog to the third etc. 

Also, as some balls will go further than others, it gives you a chance to work on a variety of fielding skills, such as the pick up and throw, pick up with weak hand, strong hand and turn - whatever you like really.

I like this drill very much, from so many different levels.

If the full squad are training, this drill can be introduced into a circuit.

It's very flexible, which is why I find it very handy. 

Just had an hours bowling practice and used it at the end of the session to do a bit of fielding work and a cool down.
