Re: Indian Premier League
What the hell was RP Singh thinking? There was no point of throwing the ball. A run out off the last ball wouldnt have mattered. Gilly must be really angry with the fielding performance. I dont know how he managed to keep his cool. He has to play a blinder now.
Deccan were simply pathetic. 86 runs were scored off the last 5 overs.

Re: Indian Premier League
Deccan have such a strong batting but for strange reasons they havent fired. Kolkata will have to bowl as poorly as deccan to lose the match but they have a much stronger bowling lineup.
Gilly is looking dangerous.
EDIT- He is out now. Seems like Ganguly and Dinda had a plan to counter him.

Re: Indian Premier League
i still cant believe how deccan conceded 86 off the last 5 overs. thats a run rate of 17.2!!! its unheard off even for a t20 game.
i think kolkata should win this match. deccan are keeping up with the run rate but have lost both gilly and gibbs.
Chak de India!!

Re: Indian Premier League
Yeah the bowlers got everything wrong. They were either bowling length or full tosses, no yorkers. Except 1 or 2 spectacular attempts by Gibbs at the boundary the fielding was poor too. But it still took something special by the batsmen to do it. I think the luxury of having so many wickets in hand made them go for their shots on every ball.

Re: Indian Premier League
Good fightback by Venugopal. Never expected this from him. There is still one over left of Murali Kartik. He will have to take maximum of it. I think its a impossible task now but anything can happen.
Well Shukla will bowl so no Kartik.

Re: Indian Premier League
what a day for dada. 91 runs, 2 wickets and 2 catches. the man of the match will be an easy choice.
i was surprised by venugopal. never thought he could play aggressive shots like this but it came too late for deccan. i think deccan are officially out of the tournament now.
Chak de India!!

Re: Indian Premier League
Another exciting match coming up now. Delhi will bat first so I hope for some fireworks from Sehwag and Gambhir.
My early prediction is Rajasthan will win this game.

Re: Indian Premier League
Delhi will struggle to get a competitive score. Their middle order has been exposed in recent games. Rajasthan has looked so strong throughout the torunament. I dont think 160 will trouble them.
Wow cant believe that Maharoof smashed four sixes in the last over.

Re: Indian Premier League
The equation is simple for Rajasthan. They should win easily now. Watson is brilliant. I think he will get a much bigger contract for next year.

Re: Indian Premier League
Whats wrong with the umpires? They should have called for the third umpire. Unnecessary drama was created. It was embarrasing for the umpires in the end.

Do or die for BRC today. I think they will die
Mallya said yesterday that he was regretting the team selection. I feel sorry for him. He spent so much behind this crap team.

Re: Indian Premier League
Its his fault that he made Dravid in charge of team selection. Everyone was laughing, except Dravid, when the team was selected. I dont know why they didnt make Anil Kumble an icon player. He is a bigger icon for Indian cricket than Dhoni or Yuvraj and Kumble the captain is any day better than Dravid the captain.

Re: Indian Premier League
Poor start for BRC yet again. All the burden is on Dravids shoulder now. I think Punjab will easily win this.
