Gloves. They are pretty big and bulky.

My pads. I love them. They smell really bad because of the sweat. You can see the sweat stains in the second pic.

Massive bag. Bought it for $70 on sale. Very good buy.

Personal advice is to have 2 bats- One for nets & the other one for matches.
Since your r a genuine batsmen(opener) having 2 bats will be useful.
The weight or feel can be similar after careful selection of bats.
I have 3 bats- 2 for net practice & 1 for match.
If u revert back to the previous pages in this thread u will see a photo of my cricket bats.
Revert back for any query.
Alright, when I get another bat later down the track I will certainly look to buy a similar weighted bat for practise. Hopefully I can find one which won't burn a hole in my pocket.

Oh and I won't listen to the advice of those at the shop and I will do a proper knocking in job this time round Grin

Yesssssss, Cricketer of the Year. I own this game!!!

for practice it doesnt matter what the bat is, even a cheap kashmir would do the job

The FA Cup is coming back to Wales!

If you want a practice bat it may be worthwhile asking some local bat makers (or companies) around you if they have any damaged seconds or old bats that they will sell.

I have a plain old Salzenger which I use, got it for about £40 from a place that does bat refurbs, as someone had sent it in but never collected it, despite them calling him etc.  They leave it for 2 years, if still no contact then they sell it on to cover costs of the refurb.

Hi and welcome to the board.

Not exactly sure what sweat band Bell uses but I guess this is pretty close - Adidas sweatband
Plus you get the added bonus of the multi-coloured one as well!

Another option here - sweatbands.

Hope that helps.

Here's the pic. The newitts one is probably closest to the ones the players use. Although i think players like Chris Martin just sew 2 normal wristbands together. I'm going to order one of the ones from Newitts i think, cheers for the link A_A.
